Derya CAN
Head of Department

She was born in Gaziantep in 1977. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep. She graduated from the Economics Department of the Faculty of Economics of Anadolu University. She holds a master's degree from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Institute of Social Sciences of Selcuk University.

She started her career at Ziraat Bank in 1999. Between 2004 and 2013, she worked at the DG for Retirement Fund and the Social Security Institution. Between 2013 and 2017, she served in various positions at the Office of the Private Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

In August 2017, she was assigned as Head of Department for Missions Abroad and Coordination at the DG for Foreign Relations and Services for Workers Abroad. She is currently working as Head of Department for Missions Abroad and Strategy at the DG for Foreign Relations. 

Derya CAN is married and has two children.
