Uzbekistan Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Paid a Visit to Our Ministry


Ms. Turdiboyeva Rano ESHOVNA, the Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, and her accompanying delegation paid a visit to our Ministry on September 7, 2023 and held a meeting with our Deputy Minister Mr. Ahmet AYDIN.

Deputy Minister Ms. ESHOVNA, who arrived in our country within the framework of a project carried out by KOSGEB, visited our Ministry to discuss the opportunities for cooperation within the scope of the planned development reform studies in the fields of labour and social security.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that relations between the two countries improved even more with the initiatives of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, and the President of Uzbekistan, Mr. Shavkat MIRZIYOYEV. Upon the declaration of the guest delegation's desire to benefit from Türkiye's experience, especially in vocational training, women employment, social security system, health insurance and policies for workers living abroad, our Deputy Minister provided information about the practices of our country adding the following statements: “We are willing to share good practices with Uzbekistan and attach great importance to that exchange. In parallel with efforts initiated to strengthen the relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security signed a memorandum of understanding in 2022. We look forward to exchanging experiences and increasing our cooperation within the framework of this memorandum of understanding".

Within the scope of his visit, the Deputy Minister also visited the affiliated institutions of our Ministry, such as Social Security Institution (SSI) and İŞKUR and came together with Lütfi AYDIN, the Vice President of SSI, and Samet GÜNEŞ, the General Director of İŞKUR. Ms. Turdiboyeva Rano ESHOVNA and the accompanying delegation were informed about the practices of SSI and İŞKUR, especially about health insurance and vocational training issues.
