A visit was conducted to Netherlands International Institute of Social History

In Amsterdam, our Labour and Social Security Attaché Office visited the International Institute of Social History, an institution affiliated to the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, as part of the 60th anniversary of the Turkey-Dutch Labour Agreement.

During the visit led by Mahmut Burak Ersoy, Consul General of the Consulate General of Amsterdam, Prof. Leo Lucassen, Director of the Institute, and Karin Hofmeester, Research Manager, the request to benefit from the visual archive of the Institute, especially the researches on our Turkish citizens residing in the Netherlands and Dutch citizens of Turkish origin, was welcomed.

In addition to allowing the use of all archives, both written and visual, within the Institute, it was also stated that the conference hall could be used under certain conditions. In addition, the authorities were also informed about academics and researchers who have conducted important research on Turkish migration and immigrants in the Netherlands.
