National Paralympic Swimmer Hamit DEMIR, one of our General Directorate’s personnel, has returned with 2 silver and 1 bronze medal from the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.  

National Paralympic Swimmer Hamit DEMIR who competed in the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Konya Province of Türkiye, won silver medals in the 200-meter freestyle relay and 150-meter individual medley, as well as a bronze medal in the 50-meter backstroke. 

Having achieved a significant success in the sports organisation which was hosted by Türkiye for the first time, Hamit DEMIR -employed in our General Directorate as a Data Preparation and Control Operator- shared his joy of success with General Director Mr. Oğuz TUNCAY. Emphasizing that Hamit DEMIR returned with various successes from each sports event he participated, Mr. Oğuz TUNCAY articulated that he was proud of Hamit Demir and wished success to him in his sports life in the future.                  

Hamit DEMIR, who has a professional swimming background of 12 years, has won 95 medals in national and international competitions so far and keeps up successfully representing Türkiye in the world.
