Labour Expert Tahsin ÖZDEMİR employed in our General Directorate provided interactive training to 6 Company representatives working in the construction sector, who will be subcontractors in the Federal Republic of Germany, providing employment opportunities for Turkish workforce in Germany, and who will increase foreign exchange input to our country by exporting employment-based services.
Within this context, entrepreneurs who will export services to Türkiye and provide new employment opportunities to the Turkish workforce thanks to the “Türkiye-Germany Recruitment Agreement” were informed about the following issues: details of the process both in Türkiye and Germany, bureaucratic procedures, notification and declaration procedures, quota appropriateness and quota calculation methods and coefficients. In addition, the critical amendments made in the Federal Employment Agency Implementation Regulation, which has recently put into application, and new criteria were shared with the participants. The meeting aimed at explaining to Turkish companies the concessions and facilities offered to Turkish construction and assembly companies, which take jobs in Germany and employ Turkish workers, engineers and technicians, thus increasing the employment of Turkish labor abroad.
Detailed information was given on subjects such as streamlined visa processing, work permit (WAK Card- WerkvertragsArbeitnehmerKarte), ICT Card, Mobile ICT card, taxation of the employees’ wages in Germany, refunding for income tax deductions of workers' wages, differences in residency and work permits of the employees and administrative staff, how and where to obtain the permit for the company's commercial activity, how and where to take the vocational qualification certificates; notification, declaration and insurance system in cases of occupational accidents and unfavorable weather conditions in the construction industry. The meeting, where the details of the Türkiye-Germany Recruitment Agreement were discussed, ended with a question and answer section.
