The Office of Labour and Social Security Attaché in Rotterdam continues organising public availability sessions for Turkish citizens living in the Netherlands.

Within this framework, briefing sessions were held at the Rotterdam Mevlana Mosque Association Lodge on 31 March and 1 April, at the Aegean Culture and Solidarity Association Lodge in Eindhoven City on 2 April, at the Rotterdam Gültepe Mosque Association on 7 April, at the Rotterdam Anatolian Mosque Lodge and Schiedam Muradiye Mosque Lodge on 8 April, and at the Rotterdam Kocatepe Mosque Lodge on 9 April 2023.

At the meetings, which attracted great interest from Turkish citizens, various issues were mapped out, including The Delayed Pensioners Arrangement (EYT), which entered into force in March 2023; overseas borrowing transactions within the scope of Law No. 3201; services provided by the Ministry; pension and social security rights and the documents to be obtained from the authorities of the Netherlands thereof.

In addition, the transactions performed via Overseas Organisation Information Management System (YTBYS) of General Directorate for Foreign Affairs, as well as the joint application of Social Security Institution (SSI) and the Ministry on pension and foreign borrowing procedures in the E-government system were explained and demonstrated practically. In this way, face to face counselling was provided to the attendees on their insurance status and pension rights.
