Deputy Minister Faruk Özçelik received the delegation of the Economic and Development Review Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The OECD Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC) publishes country reports on economic developments in member countries every two years. The "EDRC 2022 Türkiye Report" was also drafted as a result of the technical meetings held in April.

A delegation of EDRC members visited our Ministry on 4 October 2022 in order to exchange ideas on issues related to the draft that fall within the scope of our Ministry's remit.

Vincent Koen, Deputy Director of the OECD Country Reviews Department, met with the delegation headed by Deputy Minister Faruk Özçelik and shared his general findings and recommendations regarding the "EDRC 2022 Türkiye Report" at the meeting.

Following the presentation of the report by the OECD delegation, our Deputy Minister and the officials from the Directorate of the Social Security Institution, the Directorate General for Turkish Employment Agency and the Directorate General for Labour expressed their opinions and evaluations on the findings and recommendations related to our Ministry in the report.
