Within the scope of the project approved by our Ministry, the Members of the Board of Directors of the YÖRTÜRK Foundation visited our Labour and Social Security Attaché's Office in Hannover.

During the visit, information was exchanged regarding the rights of the elderly and care services in Germany and Türkiye. A lack of qualified human resources between the two countries was referred to, and it was emphasized that there was a strong need to develop an internship project in order to settle this issue.

Additionally, within the scope of the project, visits were paid to nursing homes providing services for Turks in Hannover and in this region.

Within the framework of these visits, practices related to the elderly rights and elderly care services in Germany were seen on site and Germany and Turkey were compared based on these practices as these two were the countries included within the project.
