The meeting on “Good Practices and Challenges in Bilateral Labor Migration Agreements, Including Skill Mobility Partnerships” was held in Rabat, Morocco on 11-12 July, 2023 within the scope of GCM Talks organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Atilla Ethem Zeybek, who is a Labor Expert, and representatives of the General Directorate of International Labor Force participated in the meeting online on behalf of our General Directorate.

The future of bilateral labor migration agreements, new approaches such as skills development partnerships, challenges faced by countries with labor agreements and examples of good practices were discussed at the event.

In addition, the “Manual on Bilateral Labor Migration Agreements” prepared by the United Nations Migration Network Working Group on Bilateral Labor Migration Agreements, jointly managed by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), was presented.
