Pakistan Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain Meets Minister Işıkhan

H.E. Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, held a meeting with H.E. Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, the deep historical and cultural ties between Türkiye and Pakistan, as well as steps to further develop existing cooperation in the fields of labor and social security, were discussed.

The two sides reached a consensus on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest that would benefit the citizens of both countries and on further advancing bilateral relations.

On the second day of his visit, H.E. Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, visited the Social Security Institution (SGK) together with our Deputy Minister, H.E. Dr. Adnan Ertem. During the programme, hosted by SGK President Yunus Elitaş, the Turkish delegation headed by our Deputy Minister, H.E. Dr. Adnan Ertem, and the Pakistani delegation exchanged information and experiences in the field of social security.
