A DELEGATION FROM UZBEKISTAN VISITED THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF LABOUR FORCE

A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Mr. Diyor Patkhullaev, met with a delegation headed by our Deputy Director General, Mr. Cem Gökmen GÖKÇE.

In addition to our General Directorate, representatives from the Vocational Qualifications Authority and the Turkish Employment Agency, as well as representatives from various institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan, attended the meeting. Additionally, officials from the International Organization for Migration’s offices in Uzbekistan and Turkey also participated in the meeting.

As part of the visit, information regarding our country’s and our General Directorate’s experience in migration management, as well as the digital systems used in the management of labor migration, was shared with the Uzbek delegation. Furthermore, consultations were held on areas of cooperation in the labor market between the two countries, and current developments and potential collaborations were evaluated.
