Department of Qualified Labour Force and Investments

Duties of the Department of Qualified Labour Force and Investments;

a) To contribute to activities to benefit from brain migration in the fields of science, technology and innovation to our country,
b) To carry out studies on foreigners working in Türkiye within the scope of foreign direct investments and qualified investments and to carry out business and transactions within this scope,
c) To carry out work-related processes and procedures regarding work permits within the scope of sectors/professions/jobs/foreigner groups determined by the General Directorate.
ç) To carry out business and transactions related to the Turquoise card,
d) To manage applications that can be exempted from the criteria of work permit evaluations conducted by the General Directorate on sector/occupation/job/foreigner group basis.
e) To carry out work and transactions regarding the employment of foreign personnel within the scope of public investment projects,
f) To contribute to the plans to provide in-service training to personnel on necessary subjects and situations,
g) To contribute to the legislative work regarding Law No. 6735 and its subordinate regulations.
ğ) Contributing to policy-making studies on international labour force,
h) To prepare and implement national and international projects on issues related to its field of duty, to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects,
ı) Contributing to the preparation of periodical and non-periodical publications of the Directorate General,
i) Participating in national and international training activities related to the field of duty and carrying out these activities,
j) To perform other tasks assigned by their superiors.
