The Conference titled “Türkiye's Regional Strategy: Power, Diplomacy, and the Future” was Held.
The conference titled "Türkiye’s Regional Strategy: Power, Diplomacy, and the Future" organized by the Department of International Relations at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University and the Turkish Strategic Research Society, was held on April 27, 2026, at the HBV Cultural Center.
Deputy Director General Dr. Selim Dağlıoğlu, Director of the Department of Services for Citizens Abroad Mahmut Musa Karabulutlu, and Deputy Director of the Department of European Union and International Projects Hülya Tekin participated in the conference as speakers on behalf of our General Directorate.
Academics and students expressed great interest in the event, which addressed Turkish workforce migration, fundamental issues faced by citizens living abroad, and the historical development of the Turkish workforce in Western Europe. Additionally, information was provided on the role of the Ministry’s overseas offices and projects carried out using the examples of Austria and Germany.
In light of current developments, the conference also comprehensively assessed European Union standards in the fields of employment, youth, and social security, as well as reforms related to social policy and the working life within the context of the EU harmonization process.
