Members of the Japanese House of Representatives Visit Our Ministry

A parliamentary delegation headed by Masaki Ogushi, Chair of the Standing Committee on Health, Labour and Welfare of the Japanese House of Representatives, visited our Ministry on 12 August 2026 as part of its engagements in our country.

The Japanese delegation was received by our Deputy Minister, Dr. Adnan Ertem. Representatives from our Directorate General, as well as relevant units and affiliated institutions of our Ministry, also attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the ongoing negotiations between the two countries on a Social Security Agreement, as well as current issues in the fields of labour and social security. The participants exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation to address common challenges that may arise in the future.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for both sides to express their satisfaction with the friendly relations between Türkiye and Japan.
