Official Talks Held in Vienna under the Türkiye–Austria Social Security Agreement

Official talks were held in Vienna to assess issues arising in the implementation of the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Austria and to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The Turkish delegation, headed by Dr. Selim Dağlıoğlu, Deputy Director General for Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs, and including experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Social Security Institution (SGK), held high-level meetings in Vienna.

During the visit, technical and legal issues concerning the implementation of the Social Security Agreement were discussed with officials from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection and the Association of Austrian Social Insurance Institutions. The meetings focused on negotiating proposed solutions to issues jointly identified in the course of implementation. Following the discussions, the heads of the two delegations signed official minutes setting out the points agreed upon.
