The First Round of Negotiations on the Türkiye–Uzbekistan Social Security Agreement Was Held

The first round of negotiations on the social security agreement planned to be signed between the social security institutions of Türkiye and Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent.

The first round of negotiations on the Social Security Agreement, which aims to protect the social security rights of the citizens and employees of the two countries within the framework of the reciprocity principle, was held in Tashkent on 30 March–03 April 2026 with the participation of our Ministry, the Social Security Institution (SGK), and officials of the extra-budgetary pension fund of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was chaired by SGK Pension Services General Director Ömer KÜÇÜKEVCİLİOĞLU on behalf of our country, and by Extra-Budgetary Pension Fund General Director Murodbek ATADJANOV on behalf of Uzbekistan.

A broad consensus was reached on the articles of the draft agreement during the negotiations. It was decided that the second round of negotiations would be held in our country in order to finalize the draft and determine the technical details of its implementation.
