Department of Communication and Coordination
Duties of the Department of Communication and Coordination;
a)Public announcement of the activities of the General Directorate, monitoring of public appearance and effects of these activities and carrying out the necessary studies for its evaluation.
b)To carry out information and guidance activities by ensuring coordination within the General Directorate regarding requests received from the Ministry’s central and provincial organizations, other public institutions and organizations, professional organizations, and relevant natural or legal persons concerning legislation and practices related to the employment of foreigners in Türkiye and their permits, and to meet the information requests received from them.
c)Regarding with Law No. 4982 on the Right to Information Act dated 9/10/2003, and Law no. 3071 on the Exercise of the Right to Petition dated 1/11/1984, the Presidential Communications Center (CIMER) references of a similar nature, and execute operations with business applications,
ç)To carry out the public relations activities of the General Directorate,
d)To provide that applications received from the ALO 170 call center are answered by the General Directorate,
e)Conduct correspondence regarding work permits or similar information requests from Provincial Directorates of Labor and Employment or relevant parties (excluding courts) concerning unauthorized employment of foreigners and the imposition of administrative fines, without including the General Directorate's assessments.
f)To carry out the necessary work and procedures for the electronic promotion (via web, media, social media, etc.) of General Directorate activities, to announce, manage, update, and monitor them,
g)On issues falling within the scope of the General Directorate's duty, the press and traditional or social media coverage field news, writing, etc. following the developments, reporting, archiving, when it is needed, preparing an information and announcement text in cooperation with related departments.
ğ)To carry out the work and procedures regarding the information sent to the General Directorate regarding administrative sanctions implemented by Provincial Directorates of Labor and Employment.
h)To contribute to policy-making efforts regarding the international labour force,
ı) To contribute to the legislative work regarding Law No. 6735 and its subordinate regulations,
i) To participate in and conduct national and international training activities related to issues related to its field of duty,
j) To prepare and implement national and international projects related to the field of duty, and to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects.
k) To ensure the preparation of the General Directorate's periodic and non-periodic publications,
l) To contribute to the planning for in-service training to be provided to personnel on necessary subjects and in cases where required,
m) To carry out other duties assigned by the Director General.
