Department of Services Sector

Duties of the Department of Services Sector;

a) To carry out studies on the employment of foreigners in Türkiye within the scope of the sectors determined by the Directorate General and to carry out the tasks within this scope,
b) Carrying out the work and procedures regarding work permits within the scope of sectors/professions/jobs determined by the General Directorate,
c) Contributing to legislative studies regarding the Law on International Labour Force and its sub-regulations,
ç) Contributing to the legislative work regarding Law no. 6735 and its subordinate regulations,
d) Contributing to policy-making studies on international labour force,
e) Carrying out work and transactions regarding work permits,
f) To determine priorities regarding work permits for foreign nationals and the regions and professions they will work in, and to make recommendations to prevent unauthorized employment of foreigners,
g) To prepare and implement national and international projects on issues related to its field of duty, to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects,
ğ) Contributing to the preparation of periodical and non-periodical publications of the Directorate General,
h) Participating in national and international training activities related to the field of duty and carrying out these activities,
ı) To perform other tasks assigned by their superiors.
