Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey Jülide SARIEROĞLU

Jülide SARIEROĞLU was born in Adana on June 7, 1979.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations.
She has authored Manuel of Women Studies - Working Women: Rights and New Legal Regulations. She has also co-authored Advantages of Registered Work, Job Search Techniques, Children's Rights, Best Practices of Bipartite Social Dialogue in EU Countries.
Between 2008 – 2015, she was a member of Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) in AK Party Women's Branch Headquarters. She served as Chair of Employment Commission, Vice-Chair of Electoral Affairs, Vice-Chair of Organization Affairs, Coordinator of the 6th Region which includes East and Southeast cities and Chair of Public Affairs in Women's Branch Headquarters.
Between 2009 - 2014, she served as an AK Party member of the Municipal Council in Çankaya Municipality,
She was elected as a Member of Parliament for Ankara (Region 1) for the 25th and 26th term.
She is a member of the Human Rights Inquiry Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA). She was also a member of Sub-Committee on Inquiry for the Diyarbakır Prison No. 5 which was formed after the military coup of September 12, established within the Human Rights Inquiry Committee of TGNA, and head of the Subcommittee on Investigation of Occupational Health and Safety. From April 21 to November 3, 2016, she served as a secretary member in the Parliamentary Research Committee established to investigate all kinds of abuse cases, notably for sexual abuse, against children with a view to determine the necessary measures to take.
From June 17, 2016 to July 20, 2017, she served as a Deputy Chair in charge of Publicity and Media of AK Party Headquarters. She was re-elected as a member of the MKYK in the AK Party’s 2nd Extraordinary Grand Congress held on May 22, 2016 and the AK Party’s 3rd Extraordinary Grand Congress held on May 21, 2017.
She has been serving as the Minister of Labour and Social Security since July 20, 2017.
