As a high-level policy meeting addressing the strategic aspect of the cooperation between Republic of Türkiye and European Union on employment, education and social policies, Ankara Prestige Event was organized on 22 January 2026 by our General Directorate.

Presided by our Director General Ali AYBEY, the program took place with the participation of heads of EU Delegation to Türkiye, resident representatives of international organizations in Türkiye, academics from universities as well as representatives of public institutions and organizations.   Keynote speeches of the event were delivered by our Director General Ali AYBEY and Ms. Luisa Wyganovski, Head of Financial Cooperation of EU Delegation to Türkiye. In his keynote speech, our Director General Ali AYBEY underlined the approach of the Ministry to international funds as follows: “We have the institutional capacity which directs international funds in compliance with our national policy priorities generating permanent effect in the field.”

During the panels organized, the transition in labour market of Türkiye was assessed under the topics of skills improvement, increasing the integration of vulnerable groups particularly women and youth in employment, digitalization and social inclusion. Co-financed by Türkiye and European Union, Sectoral Operational Program on Employment, Education and Social Policies was addressed with regard to its policy outcomes.
