The 151st meeting of the Committee of Governmental Experts, one of the monitoring mechanisms of the European Social Charter, an instrument of the Council of Europe to which Türkiye is a party, was held in Strasbourg, France, between 17 and 21 November 2025.

The 151st meeting of the Committee of Governmental Experts, convened twice a year with the participation of government representatives from 42 member states of the Council of Europe, was attended on behalf of our Ministry by our Directorate General’s Labour Experts Atilla Ethem ZEYBEK and Mehmet GÜRDAL.

During the meeting, member states shared best practice examples regarding the new reporting system and the domestic implementation of the Charter. On behalf of our country, good practice examples were presented under Article 31 of the Charter concerning the Right to Housing.
