The 3rd Round of Negotiations for the Turkey–Slovenia Social Security Agreement was Held


Our Ministry and representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Labor and Social Security met in Ankara for the third round of negotiations regarding the conclusion of the social security agreement.

Our Ministry and representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Labor and Social Security met in Ankara between the 1st and 5th of December 2025 for the third round of negotiations regarding the conclusion of the social security agreement.

The delegation representing our country included participants from our General Directorate and the Social Security Institution (SGK) Pension Services General Directorate, led by SGK Pension Services General Director Ömer KÜÇÜKEVCİLİOĞLU, and the Slovenian delegation was led by Lidija ŠUBELJ, Director General of the Directorate of Labor Relations and Labor Rights of the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs, and Equal Opportunities.

In previous rounds, the draft text of the Social Security Agreement, which aims to protect the social security rights of citizens and workers in both countries on the basis of reciprocity, was finalized. In this round, the draft Administrative Agreement, which will determine the procedures related to the implementation of the Agreement, was negotiated and parties reached to a common understanding on the draft text.
